Calilynn

This is a fan character of Tales series I created recently. I'm planning on using her in a short Tales cross over story. A big thanks to for the Vesperia's Alphabets chart [link] . It was great help when writing the elemental tattoos on her hands. I designed this character to fit the Vesperia world but the cross over story will take place in a world closer to Radiant Mythology one than any of the mothership titles. I'll design her sister later, now I wish to start sketching the first chapter of the story before I give up on the project|D

Family: has big sister (19-year-old)

Personality: Calilynn is smart and determined person, when meeting new people she's always on her toes at first and rarely smiles, but after getting to know what kind of people they are she opens up and smiles. She may not be overly social or outgoing but she's very observative and asks questions if something catches her attention.
She often lets her outgoing and friendly older sister do the talking to strangers and if the sister says it's okay to trust the people she shows her friendly side too. If she doesn't like some person she keeps her distance to them and avoids any contact unless they are already in battle.

Fighting style: Casts spells by using the elemental tattoos on her hands and leading the spell with fingers. She has six tattoos, Fire on the back of right hand and Wind on the left, Water on the palm of right hand and Earth on the left, Lightning on the right arm and Ice on the left. The tattoos already on her skin reduce the casting time when activated by starting the spell casting, she can cast novice level spells very quickly and intermediate spells quick enough to survive alone in battles against average opponents. Depending on the number of fingers leading the cast the level of the spell changes, one finger->novice, 2 fingers->intermediate->3 fingers->advanced. She can also cast different spells by combining the elements while casting (for example Fire + Earth = Eruption).

Spells she knows currently:
Novice: Wind Blade, Aqua Edge, Fire Ball, Stone Blast, Icicle, Lightining
Intermediate: Air Blade, Splash, Freeze Lancer, Grave
Advanced: Ground Dasher, Thunder Blade

She's working on the spells and learns new things quickly but it takes time to learn actual artes she could use in battle. Currently, she doesn't have a Mystic Arte.

She also knows one healing spell, Healing Wind, but generally she can't use light or dark magic spells. She prefers using wind(/lightning) and earth spells in battle but studies all elements. The paper tag thingies on her hair clips are for emergency use, they allow her to use one intermediate spell (or advanced spell if she uses them both at the same time) instantly without casting time, but they are consumed fully in the process and are expensive to make so she doesn't use them unless she is forced to.

The locket on her waist is a memento of her mother. It is, in fact, a blastia which allows her to use artes. Her sister has a blastia too which was left to her by her father.</sub>
